WTB Have A Heart Traps
I have a squirrel problem. I am looking for two traps.
Can someone in Connecticut help me? My neighbors are to close for a gun. Jim |
Lowes carries them.
|
1/4 bucket of water and some floating nuts, thing falls in can't get out
and then drownds |
Pump pellett gun takes em out. Or go to the local Agway for the trap. They work great also. I use them and drive them across the river about five miles away and leave them in the woods.

.22 shorts or CB caps.... Sounds like a screen door slamming
|
traps
I have a few you can borrow- I drive 395 from Worc to 164 and on to Stonington each day...
you along the way? BTW- I live trap and gas or drown em now, but usta love to .22 em with CB caps- my daughters, neighbor and I had a competetion goin for years... head shot 10 pts killed 5 wounded and lost minus 25 |
Had one on my tube feeder yesterday and got so fed up I shot it in the ass. He dropped dead faster than a heart shot. Sherdan pump - quiet too.:hee:

I think you can borrow or lease them from the local dog warden or town animal nuisance person (?) also. My Mom borrows one all the time. |
I trapped 65 in 1 year. I got a pump action remington.
Much easier. Cat and dogs work well too. |
home depot has them too
the trick is to close one door the one attached to the straight rod then use the angled rod on your trip platform lever and put it only on half of the trip lever flat side... on the rear floor next to the shut door lay a piece of bread spread with peanut butter covered in birdseed just beyond the trip platform. this ensures the squirrel has to go completely inside especially the tail.... before it can get to the bait. put a flat rock on the top or else they can flip it. |
what u said plus place a small blockunder the open end side of the trip tray- effectively lengthens the useful length....a must for boar coons...
