i see we have a ton of them looking at threads. what are they and are they good or bad?

Do you see them? and what do they look like? Do they talk to you when no one else is around?

I'm pretty sure it's Yahoo's web page indexing spiders.

they're like little web page searchers that go around, and if they find any new stuff that wasn't there 24 hours ago, they pick it up. so when you search yahoo, it's possible to find the page in that search ;)
