Boat Lettering
Looking for a good referral to some talent that won't empty my checkbook. Boat is final ready to go and I figured before a good cleaning and waxing, I'd like to get a name lettered if it's not too much $$.

I had Ander Sign on rt. 28 here in Middleboro paint the name on mine, he did both sides for 100 bucks , pretty cheap.
You could always get the vinyl done and put it on yourself at most print shops. |
Mansfield Sign. Same Price.

gs
take long enough paper .....draw logo (name) perfect
then perforate paper with pin all around lettering transfer with powder thru pin holes to boat trace (use light pencil) dots on boat to letters ---tape off ...paint then peel tape. thats the cheapest method :btu: |
Shoot,,, if your going to do it yourself may as well do the letters large enough on the computer.. Choose the font you want then put them together using some tape trace them out in pencil and paint them yourself....

Don't paint it on - you'll make it hell for the next guy (Trust me I had to remove a painted on name - it sux). Go with vinyl letters from any sign shop. Here in RI I use Gannon Sign in apponaug.

Try this site you can design your own, cheap money. I've had mine on my boat for five years and it still looks new.

I used http://www.speedysigns.com/ for my McKee Craft. They did the name, port and registration numbers. Looks great!
P.S. My boat is "sale pending", it's heading to Sandwich. |

Good references, designed the attached, only drawback is if bass can read; the name will scatter them before I can take a cast:). Then again, might have the opposite affect, if word has spread, then they know how good those Ledge Runners are.

Looks nice Bob
