Boater's worst nightmare
 

These are photos of a 53' Ocean docked in the slip next to mine in Fairhaven. It burned to the water line on Tuesday. I don't know many details other than there was no one onboard at the time and I have not heard what may have happened. My rig was not in the slip yet. The boat was a beauty, it had a nose-bleed tower on it and the owner is a nice guy who was always out fishing. Sends shivers up my spine to see somthing like this, thank God no one was on board.

Do you know the name of the boat that burned?

The name was Freedom, I believe the homeport on the transom was Tiverton R.I.
