Truck Bed Liner
Wht is the best stuff to use and who puts it in on the South Shore?
|
I think for the most part they are all good. I have had my Rhino since 93, had it redone under warrantee for nothing, holding up great, the first was prepped as good as they do it now, started coming up.
I think there is a line-x place up in Weymouth. It is auto detail place right on 3A, family name, on the left heading North after the DD past the Vietnam Memorial park. |
For the old fashioned drop in liner - go with http://baystatetruck.com/ - they are good folk...

Tom,
I think the place I am thinking about is Cochoran Auto Detailing. They do some brand of spray on there. |
Look for a Line-X dealer. Much tougher and more gouge resistant the Rhino. Fades more slowly as well. Rhino is definitely softer which some people like, but I never really had any issue with Line-X roughing something up that was in the bed of my truck. Line-X has just enough grip that most things won't slide around in normal driving. Rhino holds things tighter, but at the expense of durability, in my experience.
Remember that the person doing the install is a BIG part of the final result no matter what sort of spray in bedliner you choose. Be sure to see their work before committing. I've seen some real hacks out there. |
I've had Rhino for 5 years and don't have any complaints about durability. Granted I don't chop wood or haul gravel, but I'm not careful about throwing things in the back either. I would use the product again.

line-x

Line-x in Plymouth they have a coupon on line-x website.
|
I went with the Linex guy in Rockland...
Came out great |
All the spray on liners are good,
but over time they all fade! and all are permanent ! Not for me !!! I have a bed liner and also have a fitted rubber mat on top of that for the floor area = no static or things sliding in bed liner problems. And it's not permanent ! |
