ProfessorM. thank you, maby he'll see this an ANSWER. I couldent take it any longer. so I went down an cut a piece 7" long TRACED the plug then CUT the shape, GRABBED a COLD ONE went out on the back deck an FREE HANDED the sanding to form the FINNISHED SHAPE. now I need to DRILL some EYE SOCKETS, an find out WHERE to PUT the weight. then it's sealing, sanding, priming, painting, topcoat.
so if your out there NUMBSKULL, PLEASE let me know where to put the WEIGHT. GOOD LUCK GOOD PLUGGIN:wave: |
those look like GS Slammers or whatever Bliz calls them now, he is a member here. They are more of a boat lure made from plastic. They are similar to a wooden plug that Numbskull make s a version of that is something like a Frech banana plug. difficult to weight and shape

Flukinuki has built one http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...ghlight=banana
I don't have an xray so I can't help you. If I was building it I'd weight it so it floats like the original (level with the tail just under and the waterline at the eyes). They do catch fish. |
NUMBSKULL, thank you for the link.an the quick come-back. the ones I have are BLIZ SLAMMERS. 2.5oz I know if I look around I have some barrel weights, I use to use for STEELHEAD fishin. can you POST some PIC'S of the one's you have done. looking for COLOR COMBOS. kind of limited w/ RATTLE CAN colors.
THANKS AGAIN GOOD LUCK GOOD PLUGGIN:happy:   |
