MS Access

Anybody know of anywhere that has a online crash course in MS Access?
I know next to nothing about it.
New system I have to learn and train my replacement.
I have three days........................
Help.
See why I drink?

Thanks.
It was worth a shot. I discovered I'm already locked out of making any changes.
I am the victim of a pet project of one of the future owners of my company.
(I have a skull icon on my desktop now. ?)
He spent two months designing this whole new database for me to use.
Designed for a job he has never done.
Gives all of my managers, supervisors, bosses and higher ups; the important people in my company a way to pat themselves on the back about a job well done......................and an excuse not to give me a raise.
You tried.

That sucks

sok 05-02-2007 07:26 PM

I'm just going to have to suck it up, do what they want and bite my tongue.
And get as much overtime as possible out of the whole situation while I can. (I NEED more time to practice with the new system.)

And finish planning all their deaths..........

I keep thinking of the movie "Office Space."

Never thought I'd miss being 250 miles out in a truck in a blizzard at night.
I do.

if your not doing what you love to do
you'll never be happy there....

sorry to be so blunt....

Can't say I'm not happy at the job.
Quite content actually.
I'm just a little more disgruntled than usual.
I plot everyone's death. (Even the people I like.)
A few more days and I'll finish my list of must-have changes.
And they actually seem receptive to what I have to say.
(Actually got a chance today to tell them very tactfully that the time I was given to learn "it" and and make changes and train my replacement was not F'n likely.)

I win.
