Ahhh, What a Wonderful Day - somewhat

Crappy day in work today but all is good in the world when you see a REAL 1965 Cobra Daytona Coupe. Walking around and checking out a true legend was fanstastic  - my second favorite car, behind, of course, the GT-40 - the sexiest vehicle to ever grace asphalt and a track...

Those "wingnuts" are called knock-offs, for fast tire changes during a race.

I asked my wife if she knew what you were looking at and she got it right. I love the old cobras and gt40. I can remember that rumble and smile. Ever hear of the cheeta? Built with chevy power to beat the cobras. It did.

My brother-in-law has a business in which he tansports those vehicles all over the country for thier owners. 70 Ferrari GT tourismos and other such vehicles that the rich owners race for a hobby. He has in possession sometimes vehicles the rest of us just dream about.
