Nauset & Coast Guard Beach Stripers

I'm looking for information about how the stripers and blues are hitting at the Nauset Beach inlet. I am coming down for my weeks vacation starting the 10th and would like to know what tackle or bait is working best and if anyone is getting keepers. Last year as I recall it wasn't so hot. We normally fish Town Cove out towards the Inlet, but last year we made the mad dash through the inlet into open water. A lot of Blues but only two stripers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mike

Is this thing on?

Thought I would have heard some great advice by now. Is it that I'm going to be fishing as a "tourist"? LOL

I dunno if this is good or bad, but I've heard a lot about seaworms on the bottom. Maybe that's Nauset Beach proper, and more likely plugs, eels, and other time-tested tricks of strong current.
