bossman I did and thanks for your help last nite. I think i'm going to take it to twm this morning and have him look at it quick then am going to make a trip to Cambridge and get the new one. I think the motherboard or processor is hosed...it won't even run the disk off the dvd without rebooting.

Well it's melted....motherboard is fried. won't run over 512 mb ram without puking. Sticks are ok it's definitely the board as each stick runs fine by itself but no two in any combination will run together. new pooter being built as we speak.

That's unfortunate on no RAID. The configs I was doing (Newegg/ClubIT) were for RAID systems...
