I have one and its fine.

I have the thule but not the vs...closes fine on a 6500...
It's a good rack for one rod with reel - but thats it...two rods with reels are a pain in the butt...

I purchased one from Mad Dog last fall, he said it's fine with two rods and reels ... I believe Ray even mentioned he used a VS 300, but I could be mistaken.

I had issues with a Penn 8500 and a Calcutta at the same time

figured if the 250 fits, then the 200 has to.

next one just might be a 250
