Stopped by to drop some plugs off at M & D's this am for the MAC Raffle! Had my gear with me to hit a favorite spot but my back was hurting a bit........not enough to keep me from making a few casts though! So I did and boy....am I glad!:drool: Banged about 10 fish between 24 and 30 inches....2 were 30 inchers and they were saweeeeet on topwater wood! First few took the 1 ounce pencils and then......fish were rolling on top and pushing some "BIG" bait......right in front of me! Might have been herring? Maybe bunker??? They were good size from what I could see clearing the water....at least 6 inches in length and anxious to sprout wings the way the fish were pushing them up!!! So I threw on a "Blitz Seeker" as it matched the bait perfectly and it met with the stripers approval!:uhuh:

It was funny....back was killing me before......during the fun...I kept taking note of how good my back felt! Fish leave....back hurts! Guess I will just have to fish more!?:uhuh:

I have had the same issues. It's the adrenalin of catching. Plus all your concentrating on is fishing and not your back pain. It really is mind over matter. My perscription is too keep fishing!
