.....to give them pretty hanger queens so they'll give you plugs that work. Took the dog fishing this pm, saw a double rainbow, wished for a 30lber. This ain't it, but the fish immediately before it was close.......dropped it trying to walk it to shore off a broken jetty. Great plug , Eddy.

Nice fish george . I saw the same double rainbow too. I was in the boat in Barneystable. Man did I get soaked but had fun. I have a couple of those plugs I guess I will have to get them wet. BTW George I was going to use that slider type handcarved lure??????you make and gave me at plugfest but there are no hooks on it . If you know the plug I speak of what size hooks should i use. P.

Just dawned on me George that the plug looks like the plugs in your avatar.
|
Try the freakin' Atom!:hihi:
|
Nah, look again. The plug I gave you is a slab sided metal lip swimmer, the ones in my avatar are Frech style bananas. Been throwing that pink needle you gave me as well. Nothing special yet, but I know it's coming.

Well done Numbskull. That's the fun part...seeing others catch on your plugs.

I like 'em, Eddy, because they are so versatile. You can pull them down two or three or four times to get them as deep as you want, then keep it there with a steady retrieve (brief pauses and twitches help too), or you can slow your retrieve and let them swim back to the surface. You can give them a short tug and move them along just subsurface. Their other advantage over a Danny is that they work better in rough water. Their head stays down and you can pull them through a wave. They are also more stable with a faster retrieve, though you can't work them on top as slowly as a Danny. The fish I've posted so far are only half the weight of the one I dropped, but I'm hopeful I can fix that in a week or so.
