I found this on another site from a recent hudson river derby, look at the weights 1 60, several 50's and lots of 40's wow!

Scott Emslie, coordinator for the Hudson River Striped Bass Derby provided a list of the top anglers in this unique two day contest for 2007. Thats amazing my dad used to tell me stories of the stripers they would catch in the hudson in Yonkers yrs ago.I remember being a kid a thinking no way.It was real dirty then..Thay have some fishery up there.Thats amazing weights for a 2 day event.They could have seasonal events that would have a real hard time competing with that..Anybody in the striper cup should be happy they don't form a team..
