S-B Yearlong Tourneys
 

I have been SOOOOOO busy that I have neglected everyone's favorite fishless tourneys, the S-B 4 Leg & Yearlong Tourneys.

For those that are not aware, members can participate in both 4 regional C&R Tourneys, preceeded by a BBQ as well as a yearlong C&R or Weighed Fish general tourney. The prizes are bragging rights, whatever I can scrounge up (there are no fees) or what is donated by S-B sponsors which has run anywhere in the past from plugs to Rod/Reel Combos.

I'm looking for a few discussions on the Tourneys;

• Where and When - usually 2 shore tourneys this time of year - 1 Mass, 1 Rhody
• Prize Structure / Pool - Stick with how we've been doing it or should we institute a "pool" with cash prize - all going back to winners
• Format - Should we somehow change the format
  
  I would also be interested in a couple volunteers to help manage the Tourneys...

You won plugs but at the time your were building them (I was gonna prank and give you some of your own plugs :hihi: ) - You instead were going to tell me what (reasonable) blank you wanted, right?

I think it would be a big mistake to get involved in pools or cash prizes of any kind for any events at S-B. Its not what we are about.

Other than that , I think the format we have is fine. We just need to let more people know it exists and maybe talk it up a bit at the 4 leg barbecues and the frequent Boobs ...sorry sorry ... I mean Hooters meetings. :) I think our format for both the year long and 4 leg is good. I think few people know about them is the problem.
