Terrible tragedy. One that may have been avoided had he been wearing a PFD. A reminder to us all who spend a lot of time on and near the water. Very sad. :(

he was known as

the gentle giant...
6' 6" tall at 300 lbs
intimidating to stand next to...

yet always had a big beaming smile
and was a very happy person...
he will be missed
