Just left Boston going south x-way...I heard on the radio they might close down expressway...dont know why..smoke didnt seem to going near there...:confused:

It seems like the weather would be cooperative today, with less wind than yesterday.

I was coming south on 93 and couldn't believe how much traffic was on the northbound side. I guess that explains it. I saw no smoke or even a hint of a fire though.

I think its a bbq for 802,000lbs of striper.

That fire out yet?

I heard QFD and DEP made the decision to let the fire burn out.

Dousing it with water would have resulted in toxic runoff to the river...while the winds were pushing the smoke/fumes up and out of the way.
