Emblem Pro 5500 Mods.
 

Those of you guys that own one what mods have you done to it? I want to saw off the bail trip but don't know if that is a good idea or if it going to weaken the structure of the reel. I also want to take the bail spring or whatever you have to do to keep the bailfrom flipping after a certain point. Can anybody help me out and give me some advice. Thanks!

Leave the bail trip on. After you open the bail, turn the rotor by hand until the bail is flush against the trip. It'll never flip over on you. Once the bail arm is jammed against that trip, the handle can't turn and the bail can't flip. Then, just flip the bail closed by hand after you cast ;)
