I don't want to rain on anybodys parade in the other thread .

For those of you who did not know my good friend Vinny you would always see around the shop passed after a battle with cancer.

Shop hours will be a little messed up this week. Closing early on Tuesday and Closed all day on Wednesday.
For those interested I will post arrangments & calling hours on the website

Very saddened to hear this yesterday. I did not know Vinny well, just from speaking and saying hello in the shop, but he was a nice guy and taken too soon...

When I was in a week and a half ago and shook hands with him like I always do I had no idea. He never said a thing. What a brave guy. I thought the world of him ever since we fished the vineyard together several years ago fishing out of the same house during the derby. I will miss Vinny.

Sorry to hear of your loss, It is tough loosing a good friend

Oh my God. I got to know Vinny well over the last year and a half and consider him a good friend. I knew about his cancer, but I had no idea he was even terminal, let alone that he'd pass so quickly. :(

Guys, don't let a day go past without showing your love for family and friends. Tomorrow is promised to no one and you never know if this will be the last time you ever see someone you care about.

Geez that's too bad Mike. I met Vinny through you two years ago and I liked him. Cancer must be beat. My sympathy goes out to his friends and family.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It's been a long week with the loss of Vinny & it looks like I may loose my father at anytime. Things are not going good for our family right now.

Mike thanks for letting us know- he will be missed. I asked him how he was doing just a couple of weeks ago and he seemed comfortable. My condolances to his family. Best thoughts for your Dad also Mike - we are praying for them both.
