Getting started.

I want to give fly fishing a shot. I have done some searches in this forum and found out I should look for a 9wt/10wt rod for stripers and blues for backbays and some surf fishing. I wanna keep this inexpenive just in case I don't like it. So I was wondering if someone had a used rod I could buy off of them. I am lookin for one with a fighting butt on it could be 2 or 4 piece, would love a 4. I can spend $70 and could throw in a plug(used but not abused) for those of you who surfcast. Thanks for looking!

Hopefully tossing flys soon,
Tex

You can get a new Temple Forks Outfitters rod for not much more. $90 - 100 will get you one that is comparable to a rod much more expensive from other producers. They cast very nicely.
