Chunking diversified?

There is a local fish market in Chinatown where I usually pick up bait for chunking. Recently, they haven't had much mackeral. What is the next best fish to chunk (sorry, no pogies). They usually have a steady supply of cheap Scup, Mullet, Bluefish and Silver Hake. Any suggestions?

i guess go with the scup? i mean it would be sweet if they still sold them alive but if from the choices given, i say go with the scup cause almost all the big bass this time of the year have them in there gut.

Scup is an excellent chunking bait.
