Upstate New York Fishing advice needed!
 

So i'll be heading to the Pulaski area the last week in August. I'll be in the area for a wedding and thought i might stay a few days and explore the Salmon river, or whatever else might be in the area. I'll be looking to fly fish, so does anyone have any experience/ suggestions for fishing that area in late August?? Any info would be great!

Prolly a little early for salmon and way to early for steelhead but give Whitaker's Tackle Shop in Pulaski a call for up to date info.>315 298 6162 There is also a Salmon River Hotline.

I here there is great smallmouth fishing up there check out the fly shops like the other guy said. THomT
