Beware of flying a pirate flag

Had some bad luck yesterday fishing from my boat and I think it is due to the pirate flag my son wanted me to put on my boat. We had gone to see the tail ships in Newport and he saw a huge pirate flag flying from one of the boats. He wanted me to put up his flag on my boat while he played in the yard. So I did, but I didn't take it off until I launched Sunday morning. By then it was too late. I had already broken my winch cable line while I was launching. At that point I took it down but that was not the end of it. I had just finished repairing a broken rod (a rod I built from scratch) for a friend and after telling him to take it easy casting the big plugs we were using he broke the rod again.

Only good point, I hooked a 20lber and passed the rod to my friend which he did land. He can land them I want the initial strike.

So beware my friends. You never know what could happen when you fly the pirate flag!!!:hidin:

At least you took a bass home for dinner, that's a bright spot!
