Well I just wanted y'all to know that I finally caught some stripers. No keepers but 3 of 'em went 26 1/2" - 27 1/2". I was fishing in the merrimack in my buddy's boat. I gotta say those thing put up a fight!!!!! I can't imagine what a 20 pounder would do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all the info guys...now I'm hooked!!!!!

Congrats on your first stripers.. Those are some nice sizes..
It took me 4 whole seasons to catch my first keeper this spring at 33 inches in the mouth of the merrimack....:happy: :happy: :happy: :happy: :happy: :happy:
