playing  advocate here...

So 75% of my fishing these days involve some variation on the following conversation... "since your tired and going to bed early, you don't mind if I head out for a couple of hours?"

If my wife didn't fish, I don't know who would stay home with my son...
So if you are planning on having kids someday, it may not be all that bad if she doesn't fish :) and wait untill your kids are old enough to stay home by themselves to get her into it :faga:

I am slightly concerned about that...she gets pissed at me anytime i fish with out her. She had to work a few weekends in August, while I was slamming bass up to 25 lbs, and she was in such a terrible mood, finally she told me it was cause i was out fishing why she was at home working.:rotflmao::rotflmao:
double edged sword I guess...but ill take it.:wiggle:

Yeah I really think you got the better of the two options. My grandparents had alot of great years fishing together. I think it is only an issue when the kids are young and you can't leave em for a couple of hours.
