finally something to brag about!!!
Sat afternoon...put in around 2pm at saquatucket harbor
Found some birds working off of monomoy point. 1st cast 9" sluggo cut in half. Moved to a swim bait, and a popper. Both hooked up with 24" bass on first cast... I was surprised, expecting only to find blues. Worked the lures for another hour, more similar stripers and smaller blues. Moved to umbrella rig (i know, a waste of shads..) Landed a keeper bass, and 3 blues all about 24". Total of about 3 hours. I'm not long in this fishing business, so for me, yesterday was as good as it gets... especially for the amount of time! I have been dying to eat some bass for a couple weeks now, ate like a king and partied to the wee hours. INCREDIBLE DAY!:buds: |

It looks like you had lots of fun.

it was awesome. my buddy with the smaller bass used to fish fresh a lot, he was talking the whole way out about the feeling of setting a hook, and yelling "fish on!!". It's so satisfying to bring a friend out and help them land a fish.

good for you!
