Living away from the saltwater is rotten torture. Had to spend some time down in Long Island this past week so I took the kids out fluke fishing on Grand pa's boat. Shallow water fluking less than 6 feet clear water with 1/2 oz jigs is alot of fun. My 5 year old caught this 26" fluke on the first drop, I was rigging other rods when he says I got one. I thought getting a good one like this right off the bat would put a hex on the boat. A real shame that we caught 15-20 19" fluke that we had to throw back NY is 19.5". Fun anyways and kids had a blast.
