old time bruins...http://youtube.com/watch?v=UBkvn4SsR5A
those days are long gone brutha:(
I believe that was the last time the Bruins won a game.....
or a fight
or both....:o
freekin' league needs a facelift- or time for a new league...todays game isn't hockey...more like girls field hockey sans skirts...
maybe that's what they need. A bench clearing brawl or maybe a fight with some montreal fans. A little team bonding ...
by they way who hates hockey fights? I don't know anyone who doesn't get charged up when they drop the gloves. fights sell tickets let'em go!
Obviously before the third-man-in rule :laugha:
That might have been the game that inspired it. For all of his rep as a fighter, Cashman seemed to get his ass kicked more than he won. He lost that one to freakin' Guy Lapointe, fer Pete's sake :rollem: |
wasn't cashman the one who all othe other players thought he was a righty then he smashed someone with his left and totally surprised them. must have only worked once.
cash was always willing, but he got it handed to him more than a few times...
ya know its strange you could probably name just about all the players from those days...now your lucky if you remember any of the guys who passed through the hub of hockey:sick:
johnny uppercut....http://youtube.com/watch?v=jUhn0NqQP9I

Second line--Stanfield, MacKenzie and Bucyk Third line--Sanderson, Westfall and several other guys (Shaky Walton, Don Marcotte, Ace Bailey et al) First D--Orr and Dallas Smith Second D---Awrey and Ted Green, then Carol Vadnais Extra D--Rick Smith Goal--Cheevers and Johnston. Power play was Esposito centering between MacKenzie and Bucyk, with Orr and Stanfield at the points. Penalty killers--Sanderson (when he wasn't in the box himself) and Westfall up front, Orr and D. Smith on D. Anything else you'd like to know? ;) |

Boy, did he have a few donnybrooks with O'Reilly ;) Schultz must regret the night he took a run at Bossey to this very day, too :hihi: |

Orr vs. everyone's favorite punching bag :rotf2: :biglaugh: |
God I miss that sport.

not the toughest, but talk about heart and determination- #24 http://youtube.com/watch?v=M4fHhjp_OIU

He did OK in most of those--they should have showed the time where he fought Gillies to a draw instead of the one they showed.
Schultz was a real tough guy when he was picking on the likes of Lafleur and Trottier. Not so tough when it was a fair fight. Terry kicked his ass good in that one ;) I saw Magnuson on the receiving end yet again, too. Did that idiot ever win a fight? |
another good clip...http://youtube.com/watch?v=8Ap_eXEWLJY
