Tree Face Mystery????
 

You folks know those tree faces you see around on folks trees? Well, we have 2 in our back yard for 2 years now! One day last week we noticed the eyes and nose on one of the trees was missing??? Thought it odd as nothing else was missing....we have no sidewalks so no walking traffic to speak of and there are woods behind the house so thick you could not walk through to our backyard if you wanted so....we ruled out neighborhood kids! Ruled out humans of any kind because there was nothing else missing but the eyes and the nose from the face......there was other stuff I think someone would have messed with instead of the tree face? Couple days later......the mouth from the same face was gone???? No sign of any of it on the ground or anywhere around???? Squirrels????:confused: :huh:

Actually all the replies were pretty funny.

It must be one of them Hollywood Birch trees....Probably had a little nip here, a little tuck there, maybe a Botox treatment or two.

OK! Eye on face on other tree misiing now!! It was there this am and then I was working out in front on my garage and then noticed it missing!!! I bent the nails up to hold the eyes on.....lets see what happens now!!:conf:

Get one of them motion sensor cameras, and face it towords the tree you will find out who is doing it.

Are the faces made of foam? If so squirrels or mice may be lining their nests. I had one of those Omaha Steak coolers reduced to dust by squirrels.
