tobias 07-29-2007 07:19 AM

All on fish.

jimmy z 07-29-2007 07:29 AM

lol. get stronger hooks!:bl:

tobias 07-29-2007 07:36 AM

No more 4X's for me, every treble is going to be 6X and triple split rings!

ilovetwofish 07-29-2007 07:43 AM

That must have been a bluefish or two that did that when you were taking out the hook?

MAC 07-29-2007 07:54 AM

ouch, tight drag huh? Sometimes ya can't let em run in the rocks. Hey atleast you found some fish.

Slingah 07-29-2007 08:18 AM

Ive had that happen with braid a tight drag and hooked on the top of the head...

UserRemoved1 07-29-2007 10:41 AM

Without even asking I can bet that rod had braid on it.

The first one should've been a good indicator to loosen the drag.
Somethings gotta give

tobias 07-29-2007 11:47 AM

Need a tight drag where I was fishing or you'd have no chance.

eastendlu 07-29-2007 12:03 PM

yep :kewl: do that for those kind of places

the fish will just mash your plug into the rocks and straighten hooks

thewaterfordstriper 07-29-2007 03:29 PM

i was standing right next to him. its amazing what a moon tide, braid, 13 foot pole, and some bubble weed can do to 4x vmc's. :laughs:

all kidding aside........there was some piggies swimming around that night. one twinkie snapped my 1081m. really put a damper on my evening.

numbskull 07-29-2007 03:46 PM

That's God punishing you for hoarding wood.......then fishing plastic. Send me some beachmasters and I'll pray for your heretic soul.

tobias 07-29-2007 03:55 PM

Yeah, 17lb twinkie:D

George, you're too funny. What I didn't show was my biggest fish to date on one of my own needles:tooth:

We got this on a VMC 6X 3/0 treble hook !:kewl:
I'm not sure a 4X would not have straightened out!

Thumb-Burner 07-29-2007 05:11 PM
