rubber eel alternatives

Ok was walking thru #^&#^&#^&#^&s sportings goods today and came across some 10 inch rigged eels from berkley.Berkley Power EELS .I couldn't resist buying a pack of them. They are tandem rigged with eyes and look like they will be killers.Has anyone seen or tried them.I think they have some kind of scent on them also becuase they are damn ripe. Was wondering if anyone uses these and has had succesful hookups with the tailhook.I can't find anywhere the specs on the internal stringing.

yea i couldnt resist buying a pack of those at the RI bass show.... on my first cast i got a nice hit..... but other than that iv lost 2 of the 3 eels... a downside to the powerbait eel is that it casts about 2 feet, but they do have excellent action with the slightest twich

I saw those as well. I like my Sluggo's, and Striper Magnets.:)

Try Hogys - they tandem rig in less than a minute and swim better than anything out there. Every fish I've caught this year over 20 lbs. was on a Hogy. I like the black or purple after dark.
