thanks for the ID. i got it for like $7. i just swam it in the river. not what i expected. i kind of liked the erratic dashing and darting. i may have to play around with this design in the off season.

T., did a double take when I saw that lure. I have the exact same one (color and all) in near out- of- the- box condition, although it has been fished -- still has a snip of line on it. My mother gave it to me about five or six years ago, along with a wooden swimmer. They were two of my grandfather's plugs that she had kept and forgotten about in a drawer. He passed away when I was only four in 1969, and the surfcasters skipped a generation in my family. He was from Quonny, and also made plugs (I have some old wooden blanks too). Pretty cool, thanks
