Maybe because he wants to see them fished by someone who contributes to the site and not resold on ebay.

I can understand your trepidation about selling plugs to "plug scalpers" that are trying to turn a profit. However I can assure you that I am not one of them. In addition my ebay name is Jazzjameson357, I dont even have a star because of my infrequent use. I am a NYC fireman and a housepainter trying to support a family. Below is a picture of 2 plugs that I purchased on Striped-Bass a while back, they are laying on todays paper. The only reason they are still in new condition is that between my 2 jobs and family, fishing has taken a backseat.
I saw your post in the BST forum http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...ad.php?t=42986 and had a check with a bunch of overtime burning a hole in my pocket so I jumped all over it because my beachmaster arsenal is few and far between and I'm hoping to catch up on my fishing during the fall run.
If you choose not to honor your sale of the lot to me as per the thread, I will not kick and scream and demand moderator involvemt as so many do, but I will be dissapointed. I passed up a chance at another lot of BM's after commiting to this one, not to mention the fight my wife and I got in after she saw the thread open on the computer.
I would have no leg to stand on if you had made this offer prior to the thread in the BST forum. I may not be a major contributor to this site, but I try when I can, plus I have no knowledge of the RI and Mass areas that many of the threads have in common. If you wish to see my repor on other surfsites I will give you references upon request.
Anyway, I'm off to fight fire and wont be back to a computer until tommorow night......back beach if you decide to honor the sale I pm'd you my info.
