It's a male as evident by those long honking clapsers.

looked pretty average too me at first.. then i noticed those weird things on the upper lip.. other than those looks pretty average. strange though.

im so sick of those things....

I musta caught 100 of those things in the last month in the canal and its the first one ive seen that looks like that..

LOTS of willing females out there.. buwahaahah.

i caught a really weird one in a lobster pot a few weeks ago. it was smaller, black, and its nose was extra pointy.

was the underside black? and was it more triangular?

I love when the kids at the fishing academy get them and start pulling on the clasper and asking what there for....lol...innocense

I know cetain predator fish feed on these ugly thngs. Possble that it was attacked at one point and just grew deformed.
