Width has only a small part in the fishablity of a squid in fast water.A alou 1 will swimm in about any current u can provide. And it's almost a inch wide.
It'll have more wobble. But with the right lead content it won't burn out.
NJ tackle has some good molds but his are all tin.Mostly too light IMO.
Then there are some are designs with a deeper keel to fish deeper, faster water.
Joes wobble head will work for ya U should try that.

Good luck trying to find someone to give up the right J&J squids..

Here's a little tip an old timer told me about the tin squids and my Wobbleheads. When you want to fish it deeper ,tie your line to the middle ring on the lure instead of the front ring. This will make it "dig in" and swim deeper.

I have used J & J and Alou in the day. Just started using the Pt Jude wobblehead this season. THEY ARE GREAT!!:btu:
