Sunglass Hut ....
 

so i go to the sunglass hut store on monday and treat myself to a new pair of sunglasses. pick out a pair of maui jim sports....pretty cool and unreal lenses. today i go to the post office and put them on the passenger seat for 10-15 minutes...come back out put them on to find that sun heated up and deformed earpiece of sunglasses. go to the store tonight to exchange and condesending puke behind counter says he can straighten with heat....he makes worse and says he can't exchange damaged goods- i ask him if he's out of his 'effin mind...came thisclose to punching his head...did'nt need police involved......i'll pursue with higher ups. high end SUNglasses that melt when exposed to the SUN????????????

I have a pair of those Don....they are about 6 years old....seen Hell and high water.....no problems like that and they been in the sun....alot! They should refund and right quick! Should have demanded satisfaction then and there!!

Send them to MJ and I'll be astonished if they don't replace...they have very good customer service.

I can see things that people wearing those maui jims can't. proved it time and again by letting people borrow them.

MJ customer service is great have a pair thats 10 years old sent them in cause lenses were getting foggy they sent me a new pair.Don forget the sunglass hutr find a maui jim store they have glasses i've never seen before not on their website and not in any other store.

Don, the distribution center for Maui Jims is in Mansfield I think, or maybe Foxborough, for the whole GD country. A guy I used to be good friends with lived next door to the guy who owned the company. Should be easy to find.

Yea, perhaps not the whole country but it's big...their turnaround time is very fast...

after wasting 2 hours of my time they very begrudgingly replaced them- this company is a joke, to be avoided.

I wouldnt be surprised if they're made cheaper to Sunglass Hut's specs ;) Like all of the name brand stuff at Home Cheapo and Blowes.

Maybe the lesser stuff but I can't see how it would be cost effective to do so for the top brands given the volume. I've bought a few pair of MJ's from the Hut and they've all been made in Italy, just as expensive and quite fine :smokin:

I've got 2 pairs, and both pairs have been replaced (quite a few times)
under warranty , for free , no questions

I've brought a few pairs of Maui's into the shop in Foxboro for tunes ups, replacement lenses etc. etc, and they have fixed every problem on the spot for no charge. I swear by them.

these are exactly the same ones as on MJ's website.

get a pair of costa delmars then go back and punch that bag of %$%$%$%$ right in his ph#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g face .........lets see first offense you might get probation but youll definately get a whole lot of satisfaction worth it to me
