Duo-lock rig?
 

What exactly does this rig do? Mine is just a fluorocarbon leader on a 6/0 Gamakatsu Octopus hook. On the hook, there is a snap swivel on some white thing that slides on the hook. I am not new to striper fishing, I just don'y know what this swivel on the shank is for.
