I turned the peise that holds the drum to the shaft:D turned it as one peise and cut it in half...left/right...used wood screws to mount it to the ends and a bolt to hold the shaft

Nice clean work SC. :btu:
It would be easy to enclose it on 3 sides and hinge the front with plexiglass, add a couple of 60 watt light bulbs to maintain a warm temp for winter drying. Try a search under Rockfish. He gave me the idea and his is a piece of art. :) |
I have a motor sitting and waiting to do the same thing,,,, It will be a winter project,,,,, Keep us informed,,, It looks great,,,,

nice work ed that has me thinking. I still flip them.
|

I got to put the hooks on the ends:D little bit more work

This is a shot of the rack I made many moons ago. You will need at least 4 spreaders to maintain equal distance between the ends. I use simple screweyes on the end and attach my plugs to them. To eliminate sag I use a spring on one end. I also use a swivel on one end and that allows the plugs to turn easily when applying the epoxy.
You will love the rack, takes the worry out of saggin epoxy.:laughs: |
sweet
:jump: nice spinner
