pogies, pogies, and more pogies
 

well the gameplan was to go out and get some flounder and then hit the mouth of one of the rivers and chum and chunk. we headed out late am and got a call from fish4striper, he said the pogs were up and down. we bypassed the fleet and went on our merry way. flounder fishing was a bust so as much as i hate fishing w/ the fleet we decided to sneak into the chaos and check it out. we started snagging and it was nonstop action for the rest of the day. after burning through a dozen or so snag hooks and developing a case of snaggers elbow we started to just drop bait below the schools and that was just as efective as snagging. another great day on the water. check out freebie w/ some big fishies - he's on the right.

I have some soe shoulders fom snagging today, just reminded me of all the fun on sunday though, thanks for taking me out
