Pats
What do you think the chances are of them going undefeated? I know they can be beat on any given Sunday, but I think their chances are better than ever this season. Look at the numbers.
Offense averages: 37 PPG(2nd) 431.8 YPG(2nd) 274.8 Pass YPG(5th) 157 Rush YPG(4th) Defense averages allowed: 12 PPG(4th) 226 YPG(1st) 156.2 Pass YPG(4th) 69.8 Rush YPG(3rd) Brady has a 134.7 QB rating which is sick. Moss leads the league wit 505 yds and 7 td's and is averaging 16.3 yds per rec. Wess Welker has 243 yds averaging 10.6 per rec. Ben Watson is mowing people down and has 3 td's. Donte' Stallworth has 115 yds averaging 14.4 We even have a rushing attack: Sammy Morris: 268 yds and 3 td's Laurence Maroney: 252 yds and didn't play last week. Even our kicker, Stephen Gostkowski, is ranked above Adam V. I could go on. The most well rounded team I've seen since the Aickman/Irving/Emmit Cowboys and our D is better. Who can beat them? Pittsburgh?I think Brady will pick the D apart. Indy? We own Peyton The rest of the games ought to be a cakewalk. Whats your take? |
Always just one injury away.... ie. Brady. Imagine starting Casell, beginning this week......
Team is the real deal, but as was said Monday night, if they have the Division won by the first week of November, what's to say that Belichek doesn't rest the starters, even plays into blowing a game, if only to keep their focus on one thing only...winning the SuperBowl. He will keep them from feeling invincible, and nothing does that better than losing one. If Belichek were to pick a game to lay an egg, or to withold his A-game plan, it would be against Indy. While this team would feed on a perfect year, I think a single loss would motivate them even more than playing against the '72 Dolphins. But they appear to be head and shoulders against every other team when all their parts are healthy and eligible. |

This team is looking Scary good though |
personally
i don't think we have even scratched the surface when
it comes to making outstanding plays... Morris is a great player! and Welker , if i spelled it right is nothing short of phenomenal it's exciting to say the least. |
i personally can't wait for indy... I thought san diego was going to be a test but we saw how that played out... Then, last week with the meltdown of the qb - wr relationship of the bengals sealed their fate... not that 34 points didn't anyway.
the browns?? c'mon. I've never seen a team that made it look so easy. The best part is with every win it just validates Bill's genious. |
