wooble head or regular rigging for eels

so I am wondering what peoples preferences are in regards to whether it makes a big difference to go through the process of rigging an eel with a front hook and stinger hook. Do they work well enough just rigged on a wobble head? Is there an advantage to rigging the 2 hook way and do you impart action when they are rigged us such? Thanks for the input...

are we talkin live eels? cause i couldnt imagine rigging a stinger on a live eel.. actually i could.. it would involve a few hooks through the hands i'm sure. far to squirmy and slippery. also.. if they balled up with a stinger forget about it.. ooooh the knot that would be at the end f the line.. not to mention probably hook it self together and not be able to do much..

dead...i would still jut got with one hook.. from what i hear, bass completely annihilate them. no need for extra hooks.

You can rig the Wobblehead with 2 hooks by running the line from the tail hook thru the body and tying it off to the ring that is in the middle of the Wobblehead body. You can however, just put the Wobblehead hook thru the eel head and fish it that way. The advantage to using the Wobblehead is that it is a vehicle that gives some weight to the eel to help it get down and it makes it swim like a live eel.

I like a rigged eel better. That being said I fish wobbleheads more. There easier. The second hook isn't needed on a PJ... They hammer them. I LOVE the PJ on smaller eels.

Yeah dead :hihi: I don't think I would try it on a live one... Actually, I pretty much never even fish live eels, but if I am with someone who is and they are going to toss em when they are dead I grab em.

I have seen em rigged on a wobble with a stinger as Joe described. I guess the heart of my question is do they work better with or without the wobble head? Sounds like both work. Guess I will try both ways and find out for my self.
