First Love; Surfcasting in the Fall
 

Back to my roots, boots in the sand, birds all around showing the way, fish busting, topwater hook ups, release and cast again... I love this time of year.
As much as I have totally enjoyed the boat, it was a bit windy this AM, and the thoughts of yesterday's tragedy kept me from driving to the dock first. Having done 90% boat fishing this year, I had a great refdresher in how much I love surfcasting in the fall run! Had a keeper on the first cast! Back out at 4pm.

And then there is the other side of the fall run.... catchin' some chit on Sunday night after having fished ALL weekend, again..... just another annual event to look forward to.

I get the tragedy now...yes.
It was a tragedy.
