Good Bands
 

2 great shows at Chans in Woonsocket this weekend. Johnny A is tomorrow night and even better Texas blues band Watermelon Slim :kewl: on Sunday night. Then in Nov. another great blues band Smokin Joe Kubek. Some great shows and a great place to see them up close and good Chinese food to boot and only 12 to 15 bucks a show.

Come on Mike you don't like that mill town atmosphere of Woon sock ette. Where they park cars side by each, throw the cow over the fence some hay, throw down the stairs my keys. No disrespect to any French Canadians. I grew up in Franklin and spent my childhood going to Woon. to play hockey every Sunday morning. Mount St. Charles was the Mecca of schoolboy hockey back then and could still be now for all I know. I kind of like the place.
