Big tides today

Full moon at the perigee is causing some strong current and high water. I went to check the boat this AM and the channel marker (which is a standard size steel buoy) is almost completely underwater due to the current)

Highest tide I've seen in a while. Some poor fool parked his car to close to the water this mourning when I launched the water was over his front tires and half way up his doors(no camera).
