He got blind checked :af:into the boards near the end of the 1st period today.He slumped to the ice on his back and didn't move.He's been taken off the ice on a backboard and stretcher.

I've never seen the Garden so quiet.

Jeez...hope he is ok??

He was knocked-out and presently is at M.G.H.It's now between 2nd& 3rd period.

Didn't wake up while they were carrying him of the ice...

Should be an interesting game this afternoon especially with Chara skating in his new role as "protector". I wouldn't want to be his target.
