Toyota Tundra tires

I need to replace the tires on my Toyota Tundra....came stock with BFG Rugged Trails, which wore out pretty quick. I am looking for a pretty agressive tread. Any recomendations? THX

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo

On my second set of these, they're great. Great rain/snow/ice traction, and of course sand. Very quiet considering how aggressive the tread is. They will ding you for a little less gas mileage though. I went from about 14 to 12.5.

Clueless - thanks for the info. I will check them out. Were you happy with how many mile syou got out of the first set? My rugged trails have barely made 30,000.

I got 55k out of the first set, probably could have gone to 60 but winter was approaching. I rotated them every third oil change and there were no unusual wear issues at all, vs the Goodyear Wrangler R/Ts that came with the truck. They were a mess by 30k.

I just bought a set of Goodyear Fortera Triple-Tred for my Grand Cherokee. The ride and handling are a huge improvement over the factory Wrangler HT's, the ride is softer, stickier and very quiet. Had them in pouring rain the other day and it felt like I was on dry payment. They are supposed to be great in the snow also, we'll see......spensive tho.....but it was my wife's money

The Grand Treks that came with my 2003 Tundra lasted almost 40,000 miles. I put on a set of Toyo Open Country ATs and they handled pretty good in the snowstorm on the way home.

I'm surprised that the BFG Rugged Trails wore out so quickly. I have them on my Tacoma with 48,000 on them and they still have quite a bit more tread to go. If I had to guess, I'd say they appear to be 60-65% worn at this point.

I just repleaced the original tires on my Ford ranger with Michelins. BJ's had em with a $60.00 ebate for four tires bought. My mechanic told me to buy there because he cannot beat thier prices.

Michelins worth every $$$
With good alignments and rotations, they will far outlast all others !
