Lame Navy/ND Game???
 

Turn on the game just as the 2nd overtime ended.....teams get the ball starting on the 50 yard line in OT???? No kickoff??? Pretty lame! Thats how girls play!!:rolleyes:

It's been awhile since you caught a college game, I guess. They've had OT for a good 15 years now.

It actually makes for a better way to break a tie than "win the toss, grind it down to the 35 and kick a FG" way they do it in the NFL. :humpty:

Each team gets possession at the 25. They either score or turn it over on downs. Then the other team gets the ball at the 25. Each team gets at least one possession and a chance to score. If it's still tied after the second OT, they have to go for two if they score a TD.

It's not lame. It makes for a lot of excitement if there are two good teams playing. What made it lame today was that ND was one of the two teams :jester:

Yeah Mike, I don't watch much college ball......I really did not care for the style of play. That was news to me? Charlie Weiss might not be at ND much longer.....that was quite an embarrassing loss on top of their poor showing under his command!:eek:
