I guess Newt forgot the part about the candidate becoming a leader and having responsibility for their people!!!

Newt is a very bright guy and often has great insight. That being said, he's a certified wacko out to inflate his own ego above all else.

You could almost blame Newt for the demise of the GOP today. It was his Contract with America, A.K.A "The Big Bait and Switch" that led to Tom Delay, K Street and the desire to retain power regardless of the US Constitution by the GOP the past 10 years.
