Pats MVP

Could be Mercury Morris, anyone see this clown have a complete meltdown on NESN this morning?

http://www.boston.com/partners/world...ontinuous=true

He might have given the Pats enough motivation for the entire rest of the season:thanks:

I think these guys are scared!!:jump:

Keep it up, just keep it up....

:eyes:That get together that the 72 Dolphins have each year will never be mistaken for a MENSA meeting to begin with and Morris belongs in a drooling academy:grins::kewl::cheers:

BigFish 11-16-2007 02:01 PM

Wow! MM is just full of whimsical satire isn't he?!:tm:

Duke41 11-16-2007 02:10 PM

Wow,

What golf course is he a caddy at? I want to make sure I tip him good.

Mike P 11-16-2007 02:55 PM

Merc couldn't make those annual get-togethers for quite a stretch as he was, uh, "previously engaged" somewhere else ;)

BigFish 11-16-2007 03:57 PM

Wasn't he hanging around some....ummmm..."bars" Mike?:hihi:

Hooper 11-16-2007 05:04 PM

"Despite that, he almost overcame a 23-0 deficit without most of his offensive weapons. Incredible."

Correct me if I am wrong here, but isn't that the situation Brady has faced almost every year? Lackluster receivers, injured receivers, or solid receivers who leave for big money after a year or two on the big Patriot Stage?

The best part is Brady doesn't give a crap about anything but Super Bowls (and maybe Super Models, but hey who wouldn't want to be Tom Brady for a week!!!!)

I hope the Pats use this Morris rant for motivation material to kick the crap out of Buffalo this Sunday!

Backbeach Jake 11-16-2007 05:41 PM

I'm a Pats fan, have been for 40+ years. Sox fan, too. Same amount of time. Every game is terror time for me now that both are winning, There's a grain of truth in what Morris says, the eggs ain't hatched yet, don't go counting chickens. On any given Sunday.....Just enjoy how unbelievable good they play now, the record will show itself at the END of the season.

Mike P 11-16-2007 11:06 PM

Who the eff gives a flying eff about the effing Pro Bowl.

You mean to tell me that anyone really watches it?

No one plays all out, the D can't blitz, they have to play man coverage. I'd be shocked if it isn't a flag football game within 10 years. It'd be like pitchers not being allowed to throw breaking or offspeed pitches in the All Star Game.

And, to think that a whole boatload of idiots actually bet on this farce? :poke: :rollem:

BigFish 11-16-2007 11:43 PM

All the professional sports "all star games" are a joke.....but the Pro Bowl is and always has been the biggest joke of them all!!

Backbeach Jake 11-17-2007 06:10 AM

The last Pro Bowel that I ever watched Edwards blew out his knee forever and Bob Costas outthrew Drew Bledsoe in the pregame farscical games.

Mike P 11-17-2007 09:17 AM

At least the other pro sports play their All Star games during the season, not after it's over

If the game wasn't played in Hawaii, 3/4 of the players wouldn't even go :humpty:
