Nope, it can't out turn all of them but it can sneak up on almost all of them. Problem is that the 180 some odd Raptors are supposed to replace 700 something F15s (of which 2/3rds are currently grounded for a SERIOUS issue) and they are also supposed to replace the F177 which is being retired. As expensive as those Raptors are there are far too few of them for the missions they are assigned.

Less - human body just can't take it :whackin::lossinit:- that much also can wreck the airframe - part of what has grounded the F15 A-D models, repeated stressing and a probable design/metallurgy issue
